The purpose of this blog

This is not a free-standing blog. This blog is an extension of Liqueur Making, the posts on this blog functioning as something akin to static pages for that other blog. It is somewhere to posts notes, asides, references, ... bringing back one of the advantages of HTML coding that seemed to have been lost for a while, in blogging. One can give the reader a choice of which points he'd like to see abandoned on, and which he wouldn't. This should make reading the main blog a lot less tedious.

If you'd been invited to join the main blog as a contributor, then you're invited to join this one, too. But I do sometimes forget things, just like everybody else, so if you should have been invited and weren't, please send me an invitation.
